Obituary for Wilma Lorraine Pettit
Wilma Lorraine Pettit, 90, of Bartonville passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Heddington Oaks in West Peoria. She was born November 17, 1928 in Peoria to Walter E. and Wilma Block Skaggs. She married Paul Pettit; he preceded her in death December 22, 2004. Her parents and brothers, Walter J. Skaggs and Everett Skaggs also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (James) Corey; son, Michael (Sherry) Pettit; brother, Thomas Skaggs and sister, Helen (Jim) Waddel. Wilma worked for Walmart. She loved reading, playing Solitaire, gardening and her beautiful roses. Cremation has been accorded and graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice in her name.
