Obituary for William "Red" M. Morgan
William “Red” M. Morgan 59, of Pekin passed away on Friday May 9, 2008 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in Springfield on January 29, 1949 to William and Donna Butts Morgan. He married Patricia A. Lambert on July 28, 1990, she survives along with his mother of Mason City, children; Zebadiah Berry of Fisher, Maggie Morgan of Pekin, brother Tim Morgan of Mason City and his one grandchild. His father preceded him in death. Red worked as an Machine Repairman for Caterpillar and was a member of Local #974. He enjoyed fishing with his daughter, riding his Harley and was a fan of the Cardinals and the Chicago Bears. A memorial service will be held at Abts Mortuary on Wednesday May 14, at 6:30 p.m. Rev. John Duden will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in Red’s name. Arrangements have been entrusted to Abts Mortuary.
