Obituary for Virginia Irwin
Virginia Mae Irwin 86, of Pekin formally of Morton passed away Friday June 18, 2010 at Timbercreek in Pekin. She was born February 29, 1924 to James and Josephine Sense Mathewson, Jr., in Watseka, IL. She was married to John Gordon from 1943 to 1963 she then married Ralph Irwin in 1965 until his passing in 1973. She was also preceded in death by her parents and daughter Patricia Carol Gordon who passed in 1965. Virginia is survived by her son John Gordon of Pekin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Morton. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
