Obituary for Timothy Christensen
Timothy N. Christensen, 28, of Galesburg passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born September 2, 1991 in Palos Heights, IL to Timothy Enriquez and Linda Christensen. He married Shandi C. Goethals March 23, 2019 in Galesburg; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Taven Christensen, Jarek Christensen, Paecyn Christensen; step-children, Alyssa Huls, Hunter Lincoln; mother, Linda Christensen; siblings, Crystal (David) Krista, James Christensen, Michael Christensen, Richard “Rick” Christensen; grandmother, Marge Christensen and many nieces and nephews. His grandfather preceded him in death. Timothy worked as a CNA until April 2019. He enjoyed gaming with his brothers, the outdoors, cooking, amusement and water parks. He always went out of his way to help others and had a great sense of humor. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Carl Sandburg College.
