Obituary for Terrance Bowen
Terrance E. Bowen, 70, of Peoria passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home. He was born July 19, 1942 in Galesburg, IL to Wallace and Betty Keefe Bowen. He married Jacqueline Bowen in 2001 in Peoria. She survives along with his step-children, Bradley (Lori) Brown of Princeville, Douglas Brown of Peoria, Tracy (Hugo) Barahona of Houston, TX, Julie (Scott) Carnahan of Peoria; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Steve (DeDe) Bowen of Rock Island, Danny Bowen of Omaha, NE, David (Leslie) Wilt of Knoxville; sisters, Linda Bowen of Omaha, NE, Beth (Paul) Silva of Phoenix, AZ and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Terrance served in the U.S. Army and worked as a car salesman for many local dealerships. He was a loving husband and grandfather. He received many awards for car sales.
Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Northwest United Methodist Church on War Memorial Drive in Peoria. M
