Obituary for Taylor Wellon Jr.
Taylor Wellon Jr., 67, of Peoria passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. He was born January 20, 1950 in Alabama to Taylor Wellon Sr. and Janie Ivey. His parents preceded him in death. Taylor leaves a partner and his best friend, fishing buddie and traveling companion, Maridee Waggoner who he called Granny. He is also survived by his daughters, Khisha (Victor) Anderson, Brandy Boyd; grandchildren, Victor Anderson II, Khristian Anderson and Abiyah Smith and siblings, Julia Hill, Audrey Jackson and Eddie “Sam” Truttling. Taylor also had a family in Peoria that deeply cared and loved him. They affectionately called him “Papo”. He leaves to cherish two sons, Joseph and TJ Waggoner; one daughter, Sara Brill and seven grandchildren, Joshua Waggoner, Bella and Frankie Brill, Arianna Edwards, Thomas Jr, Nathan and his first and favorite granddaughter, Kayla Waggoner. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and private services will be held. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in his name. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co.
