Obituary for Shirley Snell
Shirley L. Snell, 82, of Peoria passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 surrounded by her family. Shirley was born March 7, 1937 in Henry, IL to John and Ester Pople Snell. Shirley was married to Don Worlow and together they had four sons, Donny (Sharie) Worlow of Peoria, John Worlow of Marquette Heights, Greg Worlow of Pekin, Kenny (Charlene) Worlow of Marquette Heights. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Shirley was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Darlene Polk, Laura Clausen and brother, Danny Snell. Shirley loved going to yard sales, garage sales and thrift shops with her son, Greg. Shirley loved going on long drives and sometimes getting lost with her sons. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Sharon Willows North, especially Jennifer, Jocelyn, Sonya, Kat, Tara, Hillary and Ashley at Vitas Hospice for all your loving care. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Broom Tree Fellowship in South Pekin.
