Obituary for Shirley Pille
Shirley Dawn Pille, 87, passed away at 11:31 pm Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Manor Court of Peoria. She was born August 9, 1930 in Peoria, the daughter of Fredrick and Willah (Myers) Rapp. She married Merle Bernard Pille on July 4, 1953. Shirley is survived by one son Jeffery Pille of Peoria; two daughters, Michelle Pille and Cynthia Pille both of Peoria; one grandson, Samuel Pille of Austin, TX; one brother Fred Rapp of Destin, FL; two sisters Beverly (Delwin) Schneider of Springfield, IL; Pamela Rapp of Kickapoo, IL; and one brother in law-not Tom Derry of Kickapoo. She retired as a secretary from the Workman's Compensation department at Caterpillar in 1992. Shirley will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her quick wit and for her gift of gab. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her memory to the Dementia Society of America.
