Obituary for Sandra "Sandy" Deane Orr Lipe
Sandra “Sandy” Deane Orr Lipe, 84, of East Peoria, IL was lifted up by God peacefully on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Fondulac Rehabilitation and Health Care in East Peoria, IL.
She was born January 8, 1938, in Peoria, IL to Roland and Marjorie Wilmot Orr. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy J. Stayer.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Lipe of Indiana; one son, Rick Stayer of Irving, TX; one daughter, Cathy Stayer of Morton, IL; two grandchildren, Dustin (Tori Westefer) Doerr of Washington, IL, Kayla (John Geisz) Stayer of Washington, IL; five great-grandchildren, Greyson, Devon, Rylea, Karson and Parker; one sister, Sherrie (Don) Abel of Morton, IL and one brother, Steve Orr of Rimrock, AZ.
Sandy enjoyed doing photography for Olan Mills, she was a Mary Kay representative and owned and operated Moms Arts and Crafts in Washington, IL and Cottonwood, AZ.
She loved dancing, painting, growing pink rose bushes, knitting, crocheting, and Elvis. Sandy had a beautiful soul, she even had “Be Kind” on her license plate. Though she no longer could paint or dance a rainbow of colors shined through her eyes and her beautiful smile.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and Compassus Hospice in her name.
