Obituary for Sandra Jean Lewis Perry Stanard
Sandra Jean Lewis Perry Stanard, 52, of Trivoli, IL passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria, IL. Sandra was born on June 6, 1967 in Brunswick, ME. She was the daughter of Charles Eugene and Margaret Jacqueline Davis Lewis. She is survived by her three children, Shawn Perry in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Florida (his girlfriend, Ellie), Matthew Perry (his fiancé, Angel Dorian) and his son, Jackson Perry of Kewanee and Amanda Perry of Toulon; five siblings, Charles & Janice Lewis of Germany, Mark & Valorie Lewis of Trivoli, IL, Carl Ruhlander & Susan of Peoria, IL, Wendy Ruhlander & Mark of Las Vegas, NV, Stacey Lewis of Battle Ground, WA; mother, Sharon Lewis of Peoria, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Lewis. We called her Sam for short. Sam was a graduate of Eldorado High School in Las Vegas, NV in 1986. She attended nursing school at Methodist Hospital. Sam was a CNA and worked as a home care aid and care giver. Sam loved her three kids more then life itself. She just wanted the very best for them and to make them happy. Sam loved family gatherings and helping her dad & mom cook for the gang. Sam will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her three children. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Post 2 110 E. McClure Ave in Peoria on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
