Obituary for Ronald Lasswell
Ronald Gene Lasswell, 64, of Cuba passed away Friday, May 16 2014 at his residence. He was born January 11, 1950 in Canton to Harold Eldon and Donna Melvin Lasswell. He married Brenda Bishop September 7, 1969. She survives along with his sons, Mark (Stacey) Lasswell of Lewistown, Brian (Jessica) Lasswell of Lewistown; grandchildren, Treigh Lasswell, Jesse Lasswell, Devin Lasswell, Hunter Lasswell, Ashlynn Lasswell; great-granddaughter, Alyvia Lasswell; mother, Donna Lasswell of Cuba; brother, Roger (Sue) Lasswell of Cuba; five nieces; one nephew and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and granddaughter, Brianna Lasswell. Ronald worked for Caterpillar retiring in October of 2006. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was also an avid follower and loved the band Vintage Youth. He loved being with his family and he will be greatly missed. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Cuba United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Memorials may be made to Cuba Fire Department or Harbor Light Hospice in his name.
