Roger was a loving husband and was Cindy’s caretaker for many years. Roger and Cindy were married for over 21 years and each other’s best friends. He was a loving father, stepfather, and grandfather.
Roger served in the U.S. Marines. He worked at Vision Quest, which is an alternative program to juvenile detention and to help previously incarcerated youth transition back into society. Roger always said that there was a boy that he helped while working at Vision Quest, that he had taken a liking to because he greatly improved his life by going through this program and that if he had a son, he would have named his son after this boy.
