Obituary for Roger F. Frampton
Roger F. Frampton, 85, of South Pekin passed away Monday, April 11, 2022, at his residence.
He was born May 22, 1936, in Pekin to Walter F. and Mary VanDyke Frampton. His parents and sister, Judith Vonderhyde preceded him in death.
He married Donna Jo Lindsey January 25, 1963, in Pekin; she survives. He is also survived by his children, April (Duane) Brod, Shane (Jenny) Frampton; grandchildren, Jill Estes, Jarred Estes, Garrett Frampton, Olivia Frampton and great-grandchildren, Lexi Pullium, Owen Pullium, Mason Pullium and Jaxon Estes.
Roger served in the U.S. Army during the Cold War and worked for Elm Grove Township retiring in 2008.
He loved his family and grandkids. He enjoyed cookouts, four wheeling, camping with friends, playing cards with his friends John and Barb Fink, drinking a cold beer, and watching the weather.
Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held at Woodrow Cemetery in Pekin at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022 with Military Honors. Pastor Chip Herbert will officiate.
