Robert L. Wallace Sr., 90, of Peoria passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at UnityPoint Health Proctor in Peoria.
He was born January 5, 1930 in Springfield to Kenneth and Rachel Hill Wallace. His parents and brothers, Kenneth and Raymond preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Bobby (Donna) Wallace Jr., Terry (Jessie) Wallace, Sally (Mike) Edwards, Tommy (Kathy) Wallace, Ronnie Wallace, Kathy (Randy) Winn, Scott (Pauline) Wallace and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Robert worked for the Peoria County Circuit Clerk retiring in 2010. He loved his family and cared for all of his seven children. He loved baseball and played Triple A minor ball for the St. Louis Cardinals in the late 1940’s. He was an avid Cardinal fan. He enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels on his back porch. He loved Bradley University sports and golfing.
Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
