Obituary for Richard Hill
Richard "Rick" E. Hill, (66), of Pekin passed away peacefully on Friday, August 10, 2018, at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria, from a short battle with cancer.
Born December 22, 1951, in Marion IL., the son of Carl and louise Hill.
Surviving are his children, Tony (Robin) Sturch, Ft. Madison, lA, Melissa Stambaugh, Delavan, Matthew Hill, McComb, Micah (Ariana) Hill, Delavan, Mariah Hill, Cowden, and six grandchildren. Also, surviving is a brother Dan (Nancy) Hill of Morton, and two
nieces. He was proceeded in death by his parents.
Rick was a jack of all trades. He worked in construction and last worked as a Semi driver for G&D, in Morton.
He was a talented artist, and an accomplished fisherman, who spent many hours catfishing the Illinois river.
At his request there will not be a service and cremation will be accorded.
