Obituary for Paul Bailey
Paul D. Bailey, 79, of Havana passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born October 28, 1938 in Mason County, IL to Ray Everett and Ruby Clarkson Bailey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Bailey; sons, Brian Bailey, Daryll Bailey; his parents and brothers, James Ray Bailey and Charles Bailey. He is survived by his children, Paula Bailey, Stacy Bailey, Tracy Bailey, Heather Myers; grandchildren, Kayline Padgett, Bridgette Haneline, Austin Padgett, Cameron Bailey, Marissa Simpson, Shavonne Harmon, Hayley Seabert, Brookelyn Seabert, Jewelia Nix, Dane Nix; many great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas Bailey and devoted companion, Margo Myers. Paul served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked in the logging industry; retiring in 2008. He was known for his logging, gardening and being a good hard-working man. He loved fishing and reading westerns. Paul was dear to many, loved by all. Cremation has been accorded and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
