Obituary for Lloyd Walker
Lloyd R. Walker, 80, of Canton died on Monday, August 18th surrounded by loved ones at Graham Hospital. Lloyd was born October 29, 1933 in West Jersey Township to Arthur and Leatha (Hollis) Walker. He married Sharon Vice on November 3, 1954. Surviving is his wife Sharon of Canton, seven children; Debbie Miller of Texas, Carol Gebhardt of Peoria, Diane (Richard) Schmidt, Connie (Sam) Rogers and Kathy (Randy) Negley all of Canton, Lisa (Chris) Catton of Manlius and Bob (Melissa) Walker of Missouri, nineteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister, a son and two grandchildren.
Lloyd was a United States Air Force Veteran. He worked for Hiram Walker, Spoon River College and Graham Hospital. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Lloyd's life will be held from 2-5 pm on Saturday, August 23rd at Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton.
