Obituary for Lisa Marie Kniss
Lisa Marie Kniss 43, of Peoria passed away on Sunday July 20, 2008 at her residence. Born in Chicago on December 15, 1964 to William and Betty Elledge Kniss. She is survived by her parents of Peoria, children: Jeremiah (Lila) Birkey and Sara Kniss both of Bartonville, brothers: David (Bonnie) Kniss of Galesburg, Jeff Kniss of Bartonville, sister Rogann Doering of Peoria and her grandchildren; EllaMae M. and AnnaBelle S. Birkey. Her grandparents preceded her in death. Lisa was a Registered Nurse for 8 years and Director of Nursing at Sharon Health Care. She was a member of Faith Missionary Church in Bartonville. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held on Friday July 25, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Post 979, 4501 S. Airport Rd. Bartonville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be at CEFCU for an education fund for her daughter. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
