Obituary for Linda Wood
Linda K. Wood 60, of Peoria, passed away Friday December 16th 2011. She was born to Orville and Kathleen Williams, January 1st, 1951, in Peoria, Illinois. She married Danny Wood in 1967 and they lived together here in Peoria most of their life. Linda worked for G&D Integrated, O'Neal's Brothers Transfer and Kenny Johnson's Moving and Storage. Linda is survived by her husband Danny, her 2 sons Kevin & Scott, and her mother Kathleen. Linda loved to garden with her son Kevin. She loved to travel, enjoying the company of many friends as she and her husband would attend Professional racing events throughout the country. Above all she loved the beach. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Illinois Cancer Care of OSF and Hospice OSF. A life celebration will be held this summer.
