Obituary for Larry LaFollett
Larry L. LaFollett, 73, of Elmwood passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Country Comfort in Elmwood. He was born June 16, 1946 in Peoria to Robert and Betty Price LaFollett. He married Barbara A. Johnson July 23, 1965 in Edwards; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Robbie LaFollett, Randy W. LaFollett; grandchildren, Dr. Kayte LaFollett, Megan (Richie) Spring, Jesse LaFollett, Ryan Stear; great-grandchild, Bristol Stear and step great-grandchildren, Owen Spring and Myles Spring. His parents and brother, Roger LaFollett preceded him in death. Larry worked as a farmer and for Laborer’s International Union of North America Local 165. He loved farming, fishing and dancing; but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Farmington Sportsman’s Club. Memorials may be made to his family.
