Obituary for Kenneth R. Stanley
Kenneth R. Stanley, 78, of East Peoria, IL passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at his residence.
He was born October 12, 1943, in Murphysboro, IL to Roy and Alice Newton Stanley. His parents; first wife, Gloria G. Moore; daughter, Tina Arreguinguintero; sister, Mary Ann Broset and sister-in-law, Sandi Moore preceded him in death.
He married Cheri K. Perrine November 20, 1999, in Peoria, IL; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Roberta VanDyke, Jill (Troy) Fannon; grandsons, Jesse (Stacey) Arreguinguintero, David (Nakita) Arreguinguintero, Salvador (Destiny) Alvarez, Justin Stanley, Jason Stanley, Terry Powers, Jacob (Cassie) Ervin; granddaughter, Kieley Johnson; twenty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; special family friend, Tracy Williams and many nieces and nephews.
Kenneth worked for Rocket Tire for 40 years; retiring in 2020. He was a hard worker and loved his work.
He loved his family. He enjoyed bowling, shuffleboard, NASCAR Racing, cruising, and traveling. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He loved a good joke and a good laugh. Kenneth would help anyone in need.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the VFW 4518 S. Lafayette Ave., Bartonville, IL 61606.
