Judith Rae Powers, 80, of Peoria passed away Friday, August 27, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.
She was born June 11, 1941, in Peoria to Oliver Ray and Anna Lucille Bergia Knapp. Her parents and son, Ronald Joseph Saal preceded her in death.
She married Richard L. Powers October 23, 1981, in Peoria; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Renee (Marian) Lozowski, Jeffrey Carl (Sonja) Saal; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and sister, Kathy (Thomas) Montrella.
Judith worked for Peoria Public Schools, retiring in 2015.
She loved her family and being with them. She enjoyed being with her high school friends. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, and antiquing.
Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her name.
