Obituary for Judith "Judy" Rose Deluhery
Judith “Judy” Rose Deluhery, 60, of Mapleton passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.
She was born March 2, 1960 in Peoria to Delbert Dean and Marjorie May Bunger Williamson. Her parents; brother, Alvin Douglas Williamson; ex-husband, Paul Edward Deluhery and brother-in-law, Elvert Hines preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Dyani Marie (Ryder Michael) Church; grandson, Skylar Jason (Emily) Clement; granddaughters, Serenity Jorah Clement, Sela Rose Clement, Layla Amara Church; brother, Donald Gene Williamson; sister, Barbara JoAnn Hines; sister-in-law, Gayle (Alvin Douglas) Williamson; nieces, JoAnn Shaw, Jennifer Hougland, Andrea Gregg, Stephanie Russell and nephews, Donald Dean Williamson, and Douglas Gene Williamson.
Judy was a spirit-filled Christian and prayer warrior. She found great joy in serving and sharing the love of Christ. Judy was an advocate for the Sterile Feral Foundation of Central Illinois, a trap-neuter-return program to help control free roaming cat population and help eliminate suffering. She enjoyed making ceramics, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and caring for her many cats, and dog, Bella. She dedicated her life to love and protect her beloved pets and family.
Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. A celebration of life will follow at the Church residence 10824 W. Timber Road, Mapleton.
