Obituary for Joseph W. Jackson
Joseph W. Jackson, 77, of Pekin passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 2, 1941 in Smithfield, KY to Joseph H. and Mary Evelyn Sigler Jackson. He married Cindy L. Null April 27, 1987 in Pekin; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Jerry (Deanna) Jackson, Micky (John) Jordan, Jennifer (Joe) Spires, Tammy (Tom Plazzo) Buchanan; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His parents; three sisters; one brother and one granddaughter preceded him in death. Joseph served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for Alcast Co. retiring in 2003. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and most of all spending time with his family. Joe was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a jokester and had a wonderful sense of humor. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude or American Cancer Society in his name.
