Obituary for John Miller
John N. Miller, 66, of Peoria passed away at 9:37am Friday, November 16, 2018 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria after a short battle with cancer. Born April 10, 1952 in Peoria to William and Sara (Flora) Miller.
He is preceded in death by his twin brothers, Jeffrey and Joel and his parents.
Surviving are his brothers, Bill (Nancy) of Fort Calhoun, Neb., Steven of Bartonville and his sister, Ann (Ray) Ogden of Bartonville.
John was a graduate of Richwoods High School class of 1970, served in the Army stationed in Germany and completed his four-year degree with honors in the IT field and worked in that field for 20+ years before returning to Peoria in 2000 to be the caregiver for his parents.
He had a love for the beach and warm weather and lived in Corpus Christie, TX and Las Vegas in his younger years.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home for the wonderful care that was given to John and the family.
There will be a private family service at a later date as cremation was requested.
