Obituary for John Doran Sr.
John E. “Bobo” Doran Sr., 67, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at his residence. He was born October 29, 1945 to Harry T. and Louise Kay Durham Doran in Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister and 3 brothers. He is survived by his sons, John Doran Jr. of Peoria, Donald (Brandy) Doran of Rolla, MO, Bryon Scott (Lisa) Doran of Pekin, Thomas (Marnie) Doran of Springfield, Dale Edward (Lindsie) Doran of Morton; 19 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Connie) Doran of Peoria; sisters, Phyllis (Earl) Melton of Bartonville, Sharon Stear of Elmwood, Pat Birch of Peoria, Linda (David) Bell of Peoria, Marianne (Mike) Cannon of Peoria and many nieces and nephews. John also known as “Pepsi John” worked for District 150 as a mechanic. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Eagles Club 1704 E. Lane in Peoria. Burial will be held at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Illinois Cancer Center in Peoria in his name.
