Obituary for Jeffrey Petty
Jeffrey Neil Petty, 62, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 29, 1955 in Jacksonville to James and Dora Richardson Petty. He married Julie Ann Bennett December 4, 2010 in Havana; she survives. He is also survived by his sons, Timothy (Lucreasa) Petty, Anthony Petty; step-daughters, Brylie Coffman, Rose Coffman; step-son, James Coffman; brothers, James (Sandy) Petty, Jon (Georgia) Petty; sister, Janette Herron and many nieces and nephews. His parents and sister, Jeri Bea Prentice preceded him in death. Jeffrey worked for Wal-Mart. He was a true sportsman and an avid music lover. He was a fantastic husband and father; he will be greatly missed. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Pekin Marine Corp Lodge from 3 p.m. to midnight. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association in his name.
