Obituary for Jearldean Minga
Jeraldean Clark Minga, of Manito passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria after a sudden illness.
Jeri was born on May 30, 1948, in Hamilton, AL, and was raised in Pekin, IL. She lived most of her life in that area.
She was a graduate of Pekin High School. She was an employee of Alexander Lumber Co in Peoria for several years and a real estate agent with Century 21 before moving to Florida, and later to Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Arvilla Clark, both of Pekin, and two older brothers. She had one son, Matthew Donald Minga, who died shortly after birth.
She is survived by two sisters, Laverne Walters of Pekin, and Wilma Jean Williams of Kenosha, WI; her daughter, Terri Bentivegna (Michael Colacicco) of Murfreesboro, TN; her grandson, Matthew Bentivegna,(Josie Loucks) of Nashville, TN and one great granddaughter, Celaena Bentivegna, also in Nashville, TN, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Jeri’s request, she is to be cremated and no services will be held.
