Obituary for Janet Ellis
Janet Marie Ellis, 60, of Pekin passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at her residence. She was born May 6, 1957 in Peoria to John F. and Jessie L. Ward Lunini Sr. She married George A. Ellis June 6, 1975 in Creve Coeur, MO; he preceded her in death in 1995. Her father; sister, Jacqueline Smith and brother, John F. Lunini Jr. also preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother; son, Jeremy (Melissa) Ellis; daughter, Elizabeth Phillips; grandchildren, Jeremy A. Ellis, Lucas A. Ellis, Brayden M. Ellis, Cheyenne Phillips, Sierra Phillips, John Phillips, David Phillips; sisters, Jo Ellen (Roger) Ryals, Jeri Lynn (David) Cooley; brother, Michael (Inna) Lunini and many nieces and nephews. Janet was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved her faith. She also loved nature and animals. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall 2726 Broadway Street, Pekin, IL 61554 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at the hall. Memorial donations may be made to TAPS in her name.
