Janet Elaine Koehl Adams, 79 passed away Monday, November 1, 2021, at Red Oak Estates in Canton.
She was born December 27, 1941, in Peoria to Jack Chris and Laura Olivia Dietz Koehl. Her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Kevin D. Koehl, Jeanine E. Smith, Daniel B. Bartholomew; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and her siblings, James E. Koehl, Jackie S. (Dean) Knobloch and Elizabeth A. Koehl.
Janet worked for Ameritech retiring in 1995. She was a graduate of Dunlap High School the Class of 1960. After her retirement she attended Spoon River College and graduated with an Associate Degree in 1997. She volunteered in the food pantry at Heaven’s View Christian Fellowship in Peoria IL. In the last years before moving to Canton she was a member of Richwood’s Christian Church in Peoria IL, where she helped with Sunday donuts and coffee, and enjoyed greeting and serving the fellowship on Sunday morning.
Cremation has been accorded and private services will be held.
