Obituary for James Owens
James C. Owens, 63, of Pekin passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at his residence. He was born August 2, 1956 in Sapulpa, OK to Gerald and Helen Alexander Owens. His parents and half-brother, Dennis Dwayne Fadley preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Aubrey Owens of Wichita, KS, Robert Owens of Salina, KS, Nancy Owens of Wichita, KS; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Leona Thompson of Salina, KS, Pamela Lewis of Salina, KS; the love of his life for over 16 years, Rena Andrus of Pekin and her children, Lorena Wisely, Michael Wisely, Suerena Wisely and Suerena’s two children all of Pekin. James worked for Sonic until retiring in 2007. Per his wish’s cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
