Jacqueline A. Bowen, 80, of Washington passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at Washington Senior Living.
She was born July 14, 1940 in Pekin to Simpson Lafayette and Bernice Creek Bowen.
She married Terrance E. Bowen in October 2001; he preceded her in death July 5, 2013. Her son, Douglas Brown; parents and sisters, Peggy Bitner and Phyllis Curry also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Bradley (Lori) Brown, Tracy (Hugo) Barahona, Julie (Scott) Carnahan; grandchildren, Lyndsay, Adam, Bradley, Katie, Michael, Connor, Alex, Julissa, Eric, Jordan, Collin, Ethan, Sophie, Liam; six great-grandchildren; former husband, Robert Brown and nieces, Laurel, Paula, and Lisa.
Jacqueline was a wonderful and caring mother and grandmother and loved her family very much. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crafting, and gardening. She loved to cook and bake. Jackie genuinely cared about people. She was loved by all.
Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date.
