Obituary for Jackie "Jack" Pamson
Jackie “Jack” Norman Pamson, 84, of West Peoria passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. He was born October 11, 1933 in Peoria to Philip and Eva Leathers Pamson. He married Frances Jackson and later married Illiad Lance July 22, 1988; she preceded him in death May 5, 2016. His parents also preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Charisse “Cheri” (Jim) Utley; son, Tony Pamson; grandson, Douglas “Zack” (Margaret) Marsh; great-granddaughter, Sara Marsh; brothers, Leonard (Billie) Pamson, Kenneth (Loretta) Pamson and many nieces and nephews. Jack grew up in the Richland Bottoms. He worked for Caterpillar and was a proud member of the UAW. He enjoyed eating at the Moose and Oscars with friends and family. Jack never knew a stranger and had many good friends. He will be greatly missed. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his name.
