Obituary for Jack Beaird
Jack LeRoy Beaird, 78, of Lewistown passed away Monday, January 9, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born March 13, 1941 in Canton. Jack was raised by his great-grandparents. He married Dianna Ellsworth August 12, 1967 in Lewistown; she survives. He is also survived by his son, Jeff (Jessica) Beaird; grandchildren, Delaney Elyse, Sydney Leigh, Aidan Cooper, Teegan Maverick and four grand dogs that he didn’t like. Jack served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a life member of VFW Post 5001 in Lewistown and American Legion Post 0017 in Ipava. He loved gardening, mowing, his yard but most of all his family. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the VFW Post 5001 in Lewistown.
