Obituary for Glen Stone
Glen W. Stone, 92, of Pekin passed away Saturday February 25, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born July 15, 1919 in Mt. Vernon to Albert and Lulu Petticord Stone. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Danny Joe Stone; one sister and two brothers. He is survived by his children, Gary (Marian) Stone, Glenda Fox and Judi Marlott. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and his special friend, Opal Bastonero. Glen served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid fisherman, he loved fishing for Catfish. He loved his yard and garden. He was a great father. Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held.
