1, 2021, at OSF St. Francis, Peoria, IL with his siblings by his side.
He was born September 23, 1957, in Monmouth, IL, the son of Paul and Alice “Joan” (Hinton)
Williams. He graduated from Yorkwood High School in the Class of 1976. He worked as a Journeyman electrician in Florida for much of his career. While in Florida, he enjoyed exploring the ocean through scuba diving and going to Miami Dolphin games. After 20 years of living in Florida Andy decided to move back to Kirkwood where he spent his time helping family and friends with electrical jobs as well as working with his older brother at Roger L Williams General Contracting. Later he helped care for his parents as a full-time caregiver before they preceded him in death. Andy also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and experimenting with the building his own computers and playing the latest in computer gaming.
He is survived by three brothers and one sister, Roger (Leta) Williams of Peoria, IL, Rick
Williams of Monmouth, IL, Daniel (Julie) Williams of Galesburg, IL, Mitzi (Jeff) Sharer of Little
York, IL; nine nieces and nephews, Megan, Brooke, and Brandon Sharer, Nate, Zach, and Rachel Williams, Jacob, Makenzie, and Kalie Williams; three great-nieces, Aubriana and Alexandria Clegg, Emery Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Joan Williams, Grandparents Curtis and Alice (Risk) Hinton, Gilford and Alma (Kemper) Williams, Step Grandmother Ida (Todd) Williams and sister-in-law, Tracey Williams.
Memorials may be made out to the Tracey A Williams Scholarship.
A Celebration of Life event will be held in private with family and close friends.
