Obituary for Gladys Hunter
Gladys Eileen Hunter 81, of Branson, MO formally of Peoria passed away Friday January 14, 2011 in MO. She was born October 10, 1929 in Peoria to Lloyd and Esther Porter McKown. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Richard McKown, sisters; Vernita Lindsey, June Ayers and 1 granddaughter. She is survived by her six children; Linda (Wood) Morgan of Kansas, Gary Wood of Arizona, Carol (Brining) McElfresh of Illinois, Sheryl (Brining) Christie of Oklahoma, Charles Clifford Brining of Michigan and James Douglas Brining of Missouri. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday February 12, 2011 at 4600 Silvis Lane, Bartonville, IL 61607 from 2 to 5 pm. There will be a dinner following the service.
