Obituary for Emily Lingle
Emily F. Lingle 73, of Peoria passed away Tuesday May 24, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born September 13, 1937 in Hornbeak, TN to William and Willie Johnson Abbott. She married Donald M. Lingle May 4, 1956 in Union County, IL. He survives along with her children; Pam Lindsey of MO, David Lingle of IL, Cindy (Steve) Nimmo of GA, 3 sisters; Jane Brown of MO, Vera Mae (Odis) Hopper of TN and Jenny Humphreys of TN. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren; Robert Lindsey, Donnie Lindsey, Beth Nimmo, Cody Nimmo and 2 great-grandchildren; Ryan Lindsey and Emily Lindsey. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Emily worked for Madison Park Bank in Peoria retiring in 1992. Cremation has been accorded and per her wishes no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
