Donald was born in Waynesville, MO to Glen and Ada (Green) Stewart on May 23, 1936. Donald lived with his family in the Pulaski County Missouri area for the early part of his childhood. He spent many days exploring the hill country with his friends and cousins learning how to fish and hunt. He would pass these traits along to many generations. Donald worked at Libby’s in Morton before attending welding school in Chicago. Once he graduated from welding school, he began his employment at Caterpillar as a machine operator. He retired from Caterpillar in 1994. Don served in the United States Army. He loved anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, being a Winter Texan and traveling with his family. He was a long-time member of Gamber Cove and Oak Run. His favorite sports team was the St. Louis Cardinals, which he loved to listen to on the radio. He was the best storyteller and always had a joke ready.
