Obituary for Debra Wertz
Debra C. Wertz, 66, of Pekin passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at her residence.
She was born August 23, 1953 in Alexandria, LA to Earl E. and Betty R. Dick Keel.
She married Lewie G. Wertz Sr. July 21, 1973 in Pekin; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Lewie G. Wertz Jr., William L. Wertz, Shawn A. Wertz, Bradon L. Wertz, Lacey J. (Skylar) Wertz; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Doris (Mike) Neal, Clyde (Dana) Keel, Dennis (Connie) Keel, Timmy (Sheri) Keel, Eddie Keel and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Debra worked as a school bus driver for many years. She enjoyed crafts and loved life and lived it to the fullest. She had a big heart and loved her family and grandchildren very much; she will be greatly missed.
Per her wish’s cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in her name.
