Obituary for Deborah "Debby" Sue Brown
Deborah “Debby” Sue Brown, 70, of East Peoria, IL passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.
Born on May 17, 1952, in Peoria, IL to John and Grace Stafford Melton. She married Johnnie Brown on May 17, 1988, in Denver, CO; he passed away July 26, 2009. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Anthony Melton.
Surviving are her three children, Nathan (Laurie) Hacker of Peoria, IL, Ted (Sarah) Hacker of Dubuque, IA and Mandy Brown of Washington, IL. Also surviving are her two grandchildren, Kelsi and Kaleb Hacker of Peoria, IL; one sister, Rebecca Vance; one brother, John Melton and several nieces and nephews.
Debby graduated class of 1970 from Limestone High School. She worked at the Peoria Airport in the restaurant before working for Kroger for several years.
Debby will be greatly missed by her family and so many that knew her for her kind and generous spirit, and her beautiful smile.
Per Debby`s request, there will be no services and cremation rites have been accorded.
Debby`s family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, for their care and compassion.
