Dean Louis Bale, 91, of Manito IL fell asleep in death on Thursday November 24, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Dean was born on March 11, 1931 in Easton, Illinois to Ruth and Lively Bale. He was the second of five children and graduated from Pekin high school in 1950.
Dean worked at Pekin Machine and Parts, retiring in 1995. He later worked at Woolsey-Wilton funeral home for about 15 years.
On June 17, 1966 Dean married his wife, Marilyn (Barnes). Dean was preceded in death by his parents, his four siblings, and one daughter, Deborah Thannert.
Dean is survived by his wife and three daughters, Cheryl Themas of Clinton, IA, Deanna Kaufman of Louisville, CO and Milee Carpenter of Manito, IL. He was also blessed to have 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dean had a love for horses. He enjoyed riding and breaking horses and in his younger days he rode in the rodeo and also enjoyed going on trail rides. For their honeymoon, Dean and Marilyn even rode a 100 mile trail ride.
Dean was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 31,1970. He loved his God, Jehovah, and told everyone he could about the wonderful promises found in the Bible, including the promise at Revelation 21:3,4 that very soon pain, suffering and death will be gone forever!
Memorial services will be held on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 2 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Pekin, IL.
