Obituary for Dean Graham
Dean Graham, 81, of Sebring, Florida died on Saturday August 13, 2011 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. He was born December 6, 1929 in Philadelphia PA to Arthur Dean and Kathryn Blakely Graham.
           Dean served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He received his degree from Lehigh University where he also received an award as a Distinguished Alumni. Dean worked for IBM as a Marketing Manager in both Philadelphia and Boca Raton, Fl. Upon retirement, Dean enjoyed traveling and volunteering. He loved his community and was President of the Edgewater Village Homeowners Association. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Sebring, Fl.
           He is survived by his loving companion Gloria Hall- Schimmel; His daughters Connie Ward of Vero Beach, Fl and Gwen (Ron) Sommer of Wooster, Oh; Grandchildren Eliza, Victoria, Alexa and Madisyn and 4 great grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and his wife of 49 years, Janice.
           A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Peoria on Saturday, August 20th at 11:00. A service will be held at the First Methodist Church in Sebring, Fl in November.
           Donations may be directed to Habitat for Humanity of Sebring, Meals on Wheels of Sebring or the Lehigh University Alumni Association.
