Obituary for David Davis
David H. Davis, 65, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at UnityPoint Health Proctor in Peoria. He was born August 29, 1954 in Kings Mountain, NC to William and Mary H. Davis Sr. His parents; brother, William Davis Jr. and significant other, Cheryl Roper preceded him in death. He is survived by his stepchildren, Adreian (Treonah) Roper, Skyla (Aerion) Banks, Katrina (Raymond) Russell, Davetta; grandchildren, Chris, Q, Braden, Adreonah, Brooklyn, Ariah and sister, Celina (Charles) Cranks. David served our country in the U.S. Army and retired from the Army and later worked for SC2. He loved sports, racing and going to work. He was very kind and giving and loved life to the fullest. Most of all he loved his family and friends, he was crazy about his grandkids. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Progressive Outreach Ministry 1003 E. Moneta Ave., Peoria Heights, IL 61603. Pastor Leodes Boyd will officiate.
