Obituary for David Crosby
David C. Crosby 80, of Wedron passed away Monday November 15, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born November 9, 1930 to Edward and Mary Campbell Crosby in Belaire, OH. He married Marcia MacQuoid January 1, 1954 in Long Beach, CA, She survives along with his children; Jeff (Maria) Crosby of Naperville, Scott (Lynn) Crosby of Grass Lakes, MI, Susan (Mark) Paschall of Sublette, Patrick (Peggy) Crosby of Lombard and Marjorie (Geoff) Fairall of Australia, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He also left behind Freddie and Louie, his faithful dog companions. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother; Philip Crosby. David served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was an author, and a leader in the quality control field. He was a recipient of the “Outstanding Civilian Service” Medal for his work in Zero Defects. He left his family ready to face the world. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Condolences may be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 188 Wedron, IL 60557.
