Obituary for Danny Deal
Danny Alan Deal, 70, of Pekin passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 1, 1942 in Glasford to Ernest and Lorraine Bauer Deal. He married Bertha Vale September 10, 1961. He was preceded in death by his Parents. He is survived by his sons, Derrick (Michelle) Deal of Pekin, Douglas (Tera) Deal of Pekin; grandchildren, Danielle, Devin, Darrah, Dawnelle, Dakota, Madison, Derek, Cameron, Allyson, Ashleigh; brother, Delbert Deal of Pekin; one niece; five nephews and his former wife, Bertha Vale Keefer. Danny served in the U.S. 5th Army. He was a self employed Teamster. He was a Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He enjoyed drag racing. He was a very caring and loving person. He loved his grandchildren and animals very much. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Abts Mortuary in Pekin from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Burial of cremains will be at Kingston Mines Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association and American Heart Association in his name.
