Obituary for Daniel "Boz" L. Bozman Sr.
Daniel “Boz” L. Bozman Sr., 66, of Peoria passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.
He was born March 2, 1954 in Princess Anne, MD to Edwin and Mary Adams Bozman. His parents; son, William Bozman, and granddaughter, Kenshawna DeWeese preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Julie Bozman, Daniel Bozman, Amber Bozman, Matthew Bozman, Melissa (Jermine) Logan, Curtis (Andrea Thomas) DeWeese II, Nicholas Trigg; grandchildren, Eldon Bowen, William Bozman, Curtis DeWeese III, Trevor DeWeese, Trenton DeWeese, Haliegh DeWeese, Kentasia DeWeese, Kentae Walker, Caydyn R., Caysyn R. Sylys T.; sister, Barbara Walters and devoted companion and love of his life for 22 years, Jeannetta DeWeese.
Boz worked for Caterpillar and GND Integrated, retiring in 2015. He loved his family dearly. He collected coins and Coke memorabilia. He was a Chicago Cubs and Redskins fan. He loved going to thrift stores and he enjoyed Karaoke and slot machines.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Eagles Club 1704 S. East Lane, Peoria, IL 61605.
