Obituary for Cory S. Brown
Cory S. Brown, 38, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at his residence. He was born on June 28, 1980, in Peoria. His grandfathers, Robert Brown and William Atkinson, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Amelia Brown, and her mother, Johanna Christiansen; his mother, Lynn Atkinson Brown; his father and stepmother, Steve and Peggy Brown; his grandmothers, Rosie Atkinson and Fran Brown; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Cory loved his daughter and spending time with his large extended family. He was a fan of music and movies, and loved bird watching, a beautiful sunset, and a great meal. Cory had an enormous and infectious sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for the benefit of his daughter's education at Morton Community Bank, Cory S. Brown Memorial Fund #761888.
