Christina Rene Woody, 49, of Pekin passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.
She was born October 30, 1970 in Ventura County, CA to Robert and Emma Scobee Browning.
She married Michael Andrew Woody May 4, 1988 in Peoria; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Emily Dillet, Kimberly (Robert) Lawrence; grandchildren, Amaya Dillet, Livana Woody, Melody Montgomery; siblings, Tim (Loy Spurgeon) Browning, Jeff Browning, Jane Johnson, Robin (Ho) Chan, Daniel (Agnes) Browning, Michael (Shauna) Browning, Juliane (Harmon) Lingle, Jennifer (William) Hofstetter and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Emma Scobee Browning and son-in-law, David Johnson.
Christina enjoyed cooking, reading books, sitting on the porch during the rain and the native culture. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. Christina loved her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Cremation has been accorded and a private family celebration of life will be held.
