Obituary for Charles "Chub" Richardson
Charles “Chub” Richardson, 75, of Manito passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:16 p.m. He was born on December 10, 1942 to Ben and Edna Allen Richardson. He married Vicky Kemper on June 6, 1964; she passed away in 2014. He was also preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jack. He is survived by his children, Charles (Danielle) Richardson of Northfield, OH, Lori (Russell) Mitchell of Manito; grandchildren, Ashley, Kyndra, Kayla, Brian, Brittney, Melissa; great-grandson, Jace; sisters, Alice Chambers of Thomasville, MO, Joyce Thomas of East Peoria, Bonnie (Harold) Long of Manito, Jean (Dave) Ishmael of Manito, Carol (Mannie) Roberts of Manito; brothers, Ben (Susan) Richardson of Manito, Joe (Margie) Richardson of Manito and special sister-in-law, Rhonda Eitenmiller of Manito. He was a lineman for nearly 40 years working out of I.B.E.W. Local #51; retiring from Ameren in 2005. He was a member of Charles Perdew Museum Association, Ducks Unlimited, Illinois State Rifle Association and N.R.A. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed making wooden decoys. Per his wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held.
